Ross Equipment - Specializing in Farm Equipment Sales and Service

Tractor repair. It's who we are.

You can build up a lot of practical wisdom in six decades. Our knowledge stockpile began in 1948, when Bill Ross first started repairing neighbors' farm equipment in Columbia Station, Ohio. Today, three of us carry on the tradition:

Dennis Ross. My dad, Bill Ross, founded Ross Equipment when I was way too young to help him out but I learned a lot growing up and always kept my hand in while teaching industrial arts for about 30 years. In fact, when I was 21 in the late 1960s, I was the proud owner of what was then the biggest tractor in town, the new International Harvester IH706, which could pull a five bottom plow. Now Ross customers are my first priority.

Ben Schiemann. You could say I grew up with Ross. I started working on tractors when I was in high school, going full-time in 1995. I'm a specialist in sheet metal and painting but I'm also a full-time mechanic always ready to help people in the office, on the phone or via our growing internet business. (It's easy to find us on eBay: Just enter Fordster45 in the search box.) Home for me, my wife and child, is about six miles from Ross Equipment, in Brunswick, Ohio.

John Coss. I grew up close to Ross Equipment but when I started here at 16 in 1988, changing oil was a mystery to me. Which is why my first job was lawn maintenance. I learned to be a mechanic by working on the Ford N series, then moved on to three cylinder models. After doing expert mechanical work, my biggest goal is making sure our customers have the parts, service and knowledge they need to be smart tractor owners.
